If you have ever been curious about meteorites or thought it would be cool to learn about and touch a rock from outer space, plan to attend the Indian Mounds Rock and Mineral Club (IMRMC) meeting on January 21,2025. Dr. Kent Ratajeski, Lecturer and Dice Mineralogical Museum Director at Calvin College, will be presenting on Meteorites and Their Amazing Stories. Kent will share his understanding of Meteorites, how they are formed and what they tell us about the origin of the solar system. Additionally, Kent will tell us about his recent adventure chasing the meteorite that fell in Indiana a few weeks ago. In addition to bringing along items from his own collection of meteorites for us to see and touch, we may get to see a piece from the recent find in Indiana. It should be a flash of a program!

Cost: Free. Everyone is welcome to attend, particularly those with an interest in Rocks, minerals, science and space.
